So, after more than 24 hours of travel we finally landed in LA about 5pm on Wednesday local time (or 11am Thursday back in Oz). The trip was arduous but pretty uneventful.
Sleep was hard to come by on the plane, as every position was about as uncomfortable as the last, but we all made it here safe and sound.
After checking into our digs, we had a short wander about Santa Monica and decided to eat at a very classy establishment you may be familiar with? Hooters? Can I just say it is no wonder why obesity is such an issue in this country as I could almost feel my arteries clogging up as I devoured my deep fried pickles, chilli cheese fries, chicken strips and BBQ ribs. YUM!
Full to the brim I'll go to sleep happy and look forward to meeting Mickey Mouse tomorrow.
